The foremost importance of getting a part-time job (arubaito) in this game is to earn enough money (the currency is Rich) to supplement your wardrobe and buy gifts during birthdays and other events, unless you seriously believe you can survive on an allowance of 10 Rich a month (considering expensive choc already costs 10 Rich). Another good reason of getting a job is to improve your relationship with whichever guy/girl is working in the same job as you, as well as raise various parameters influenced by the job.
You can get a job by checking your emails for job updates and then calling the workplace when you've unlocked it (Sangosho is the only one that allows you to send an email reply). Going to work is an automatic occurence, so you don't have to worry about skipping work (damn). To quit, you?ll have to call your job master. Note that you can?t work again at the same place after you?ve quit!
